I started out writing for no one in particular but there was a loyal group of friends who made it a point to read what I wrote (right about five or six) everyday. Over time, more friends started finding out about my blog and reading, but little did I expect that through this space of mine I would meet lovely fellow bloggers whom I would become fast friends with.

They have been labelled ‘The Antoinettes’ on this blog because our first meeting was at Antoinette at Mandarin Gallery. But now I think they should be re-labelled ‘The H Girls’ because these girls are not only hot, they are so very helpful (even before we met in person), humorous and honest.

When Christmas came, we organised a dinner to introduce the other halves (whom we’ve been reading so much about) and do a gift exchange.

I suggested we go to Kazu because I found out Evonne likes foie gras and if I know any place that serves awesome fat liver, it’s Kazu. I was also craving their wagyu beef sticks.

After dinner, we proceeded to Anne’s new place for an impromptu house warming (very impressive décor and furnishing) and did our gift exchange at the same time.

We picked our Secret Santa among ourselves and I drew April who gave me ‘The Card Game for Lovers’ and wished me a kinky Christmas! (I probably forgot to mention horny earlier :P)

We had a good evening and I’m really happy that what started out as a place to store memories has lead to this budding friendship :)

Pity we didn’t manage to get a picture of the boys but we’ll be meeting again for a Chinese New Year reunion steamboat lunch soon so we can do it then. Looking forward.
