Christmas in my family is the same practically every year. At the stroke of midnight, we will be singing along to Christmas carols in church and celebrating the birth of Jesus with a solemn and beautiful mass. It’s our tradition, and one I cherish.
Also just like last year, we had a sumptuous catered dinner buffet spread and the kitchen was a hive of activity as the mothers whipped up some of their own specialities to complement the spread. It was a day of feasting and more feasting.
I think L’s tummy is still recovering from that day of stuffing (or it could be the Thai food we had two days ago). We had a good time though.
How blessed are we :)
Hope all of you had a Christmas filled with love, food and gifts too! xx
My Tweedledee (Cindy) got me a very thoughtful and useful Christmas gift. She passed it to me when we attended a copy-writing course together two weeks ago because she was afraid I would go and get one myself – a classy wedding planner from Kikki.K.
She’s right. It was definitely something I would have gotten on my own. I LOVE IT. (Thanks dear, you know me so well!)
We did a post-Christmas dinner at Watami this week and exchanged gifts. Don’t think we were late since Christmas lasts 12 days, no?
It was a dinner of happy exchanges. I updated them on my wedding preparations and shared some ideas with Trish since she would also be getting married soon. There was also an announcement and excited squeals all around (will share more once I get the go ahead from the Tweedledee).
I think I’m in a happy bubble :)
